Brain Science

I watched a TV show about brain science. Two person playing rock-paper-scissors. And they were asked to think carefully before they show their hand. They did it several times and monitored their brain activity during the process. Depending on what hand out of the three they put out, the monitor showed similar brain activity on the same hands out. When consciously decided what hand to put out, the monitor showed the pattern on what they have decided. In fact, the monitor was showing that the brain was already giving out signals on what hand to choose right when they started facing each other. It was even before they were thinking consciously. Once they start to think, the brain patterns that indicate the three types of hands would rapidly show one after another. But what they would actually put out was actually the one that was signaled before the thinking process began. The result has told us that the unconscious mind seems to make a decision the second we know that the game is going to happen.

I feel that when one’s conscious mind hesitates and tries to make a decision that is different to the unconscious mind, most likely one looses the game. It happens because the egoistic conscious mind is distracting the signal from the brain, the unconscious mind. So this explains to us that it’s better not to torment ourselves by thinking. The brain already has the answer. If you could pick-up that signal by being in are relaxed pliable state, your brain will lead you to the right direction.

As I mentioned previously, (http://isehakusando-eng-version.blogspot.com/2010_07_11_archive.html) this photo is a shot capturing the beginning of the Universe.  It looks just like a human brain. The brain is the universe. It is where things begin in you own universe.

The brain test of the rock-paper-scissors game indicates that we already had the answer the second we faced each other. It is fascinating to think that two human beings who carry a universe in his/her brain are facing one another. It is one universe vs. another universe.

The answer that the brain has for you is not necessary convenient for you at that time. It might choose to loose the game for some reason. You might be able to fool another person, but you cannot fool your own brain. If you keep ignoring the signals from your own brain, it might attack you back one day. Do be careful.

The good will is a big part of your innate god. So be honest and follow your good will. Then there is nothing to worry about. Your brain=universe will support you. Your universe=brain will help you.

When things are going good, it feels like a natural flow. It goes so smoothly. We might be anxious from time to time but not in a tormenting state. In Japanese, anxious is 心配。心=heart, =distribute. It means to care, to be aware of the possibilities of alertly factors and problems. It’s important to be aware but not to torment yourself. Then things will go smoothly. If you start to torment yourself, just stop for a moment and observe the situation in a calm manner. It’s good to stop and let the time pass. The brain is always giving you a signal to “stop” when you start to torment.

A successor does not torment himself.
Honesty and calm observation are precious factors that could change your life.

Being sensible means caring

Today is Setsubun(節分). It is the new years day for the shinkai (神界)- The World of the Gods. This morning, I felt the difference, refreshed and revitalized. We have moved up one step higher in the spirit level.  Yesterday, I didnt feel hungry at all. I didn't want any solid piece running through my throat. I drank a lot of distilled water with a pinch of sea salt.

I came to an understanding once again that when we leave this physical body, we cannot consume or take anything from the outside. It becomes an obstruction. If you had received many healing sessions from a fee-charging healer, you will suffer a lot at the end of your life. When youve been involved for a long time with a religious group that gathers donation, you will suffer after your physical death. If you have lived your life without any involvement of such groups or healers and maintained your original spiritual energy, leaving your physical body will go smoothly without any pain. When you can leave smoothly without pain, your soul is able to go to a higher realm in the heavens.

There are serious Buddhist practitioners who attempt in sokushin-jōbutsu (即身成仏) trying to attain Buddhahood while still in the flesh. You really dont have to practice such thing like stop eating. When we humans and animals get old and sense the end of life, we will naturally stop eating. When we come to acknowledge that god lives within all of us that is the same as attaining Buddhahood.

No special practice needs to be done.

When I watched the sunrise this morning, an image of Eleven-headed Kanzeon (Japanese name for the Bodhisattva of Compassion/ one female figure form of Buddha) came to me.

The number eleven represents the eleven dimension of the heavens, the whole of creation. The microcosm of the Universe is always here within our chaotic daily life.  So we really dont have to try and figure out what is happening in the distant cosmic world. When we are able to see and observe all the details of what is happening in our own daily life, we are seeing and understanding the whole Universe.

Therefore, when we really worked hard and did our best, we come to attain a Buddha-like peaceful smile on our face in our later days.  A craftsman who sought a path with dignity and sincerity may come to enlightenment. A housewife who went through many hardships in family matters may also attain enlightenment.

Japanese language is very interesting. It is purposely designed to have the vibrational energy that resonates with the World of the Gods. In time, the words had changed, yet the hidden sound effects still remained. For example, we call Kanzeon as Kannon-sama since the old days. Kannon (観音 Kuan Yin in Chinese) literally means observe the sounds/senses. It is about our senses. I feel being a Kannon is about being sensible, caring about how others are feeling and listening well.  Whether it is about work or a personal relationship, its very important to try and sense and understand about your opponent.

As mentioned in the Ooharae-no-kotoba (大祓詞 the only valid norito chant) descended through goddess Yamato-hime (皇女倭姫), in the ancient times, the plants and trees had feelings and communicated with us. It is now starting to happen again. The already starting new era is a time where we could once again communicate with all lives. If you listen carefully and care for all living things, you will become the god/goddess of compassion and heal/help many people.

Being ordinary is better

This photo was taken by one of the attentive reader of my blog. I sense he has a strong connection with Ise Jingu (The Grand Shrine of Ise).

Every year around the time of chushu no meigetsu (autumn full moon), Ise Jingu holds a festival. They put out a contest for tanka and haiku (traditional Japanese style short and long poems). The selected best poems are read along with the traditional musical performance as offerings to the gods. The ceremony is called Jingu kangetsu-kai and it is held on the day of full moon somewhere between August and September. It is usually held at the Gegū (the outer shrine) but this year it was held at Naigū (the inner shrine) due to some construction.

The authors of the selected poems are invited to attend the ceremony. At the lower end of the photo, the eboshi hat worn by the gakushi (ceremonial players of instruments) is showing. The “e” of eboshi means bird. All shrine priests and music players wear this hat that signifies a bird. The ancient Shinto understanding is that the birds are messengers of the gods. The reason why the symbolic creature is not a dragon or a snake is because the gods are trying to show us the future where the Time of the Phoenix (bird) will come after going through a long period of the Time of the Dragon that we are now staged. The dragons will soon evolve into phoenixes.

These figures are symbolic images that reflect on the basis of civilization and culture of certain periods. The “long” feature of dragons and snakes are symbolic to the present time. When seen from the sky, trains and roads look “long”, a crawling creature like the snakes. An organized long line of people inkling a war. Fossilized dinosaurs (dragons) is said to be the source of oil. This all happened or is happening during the Time of the Dragons when people fight for land (earth) boundary.  We will soon be evolving into the Time of the Phoenix where we will be borderless and free as a bird.

In the sky, there is the sun. The new era will be a civilization based on solar energy and flying freely. That is the message from the heavenly gods. We will be able to use telepathy. The development of the internet is the beginning of this new era. The high-techs will evolve to greater abilities.

In the photo, you can see a large white aura emanating from the gakushi players and the two big circle of lights floating in the air. One is a light green. This is the same color aura of the god spirit I often see when I go to the Gegū. The light blue one, I see at the Naigū. It is very rare to witness such big god spirits. It proves that the gakushi players are living a faithful and honest life. Otherwise, they would not have appeared.

Humans work hard and make efforts because they really don’t understand about life and god. And that is a good thing. Being ordinary, trying hard, making efforts and moving forward step by step.

We just keep moving on. It is the same in space. There is an eternal current and breathing. Going into meditation or so called “spiritual path”, will stop you from growing. You think it’s a faster way to enlightenment but in fact, it’s delaying your life. It’s good to have problems and struggle through life and being ordinary. When you work hard, for sure, one day you will see a change for the better.

Think about your wishes lightly

Sometimes, I come across thinking, “hmmm I wish it will turn out this way” and often it actually comes true. The secret to make it happen is to wish lightly.

What becomes an obstacle to the manifestation is in fact your ego (valuing only on self and not caring for others). Your natural life force is wasted when you have egoistic thoughts and your spiritual power is weakened. Thus, the more energy you put into thinking about egoistic wishes, the more spiritual power is wasted and leaked which makes it almost possible for your wish to come true.

So if you want your wish to come true, don’t strongly pray for it. Just keep in mind lightly. And simply focus on the act, “what can I do now to make it happen?”

I see many people just praying strongly and not putting any effort in the act. Sometimes, wishes do come true only through prayers. But it may have come true without doing so.  When an egoistic wish comes true through strong praying, it often involves an egoistic spirit coming to help you in the materialization. Once this spirit is involved, they always require conditions in exchange. You would loose something in exchange for your gain.

The fee charging psychic readers/ channelers are in contract with these evil minded spirits. Often they don’t even know this fact. You loose money as well as your life force to the spirits. The reader’s health is often affected. The only spirits that can truly help you is your direct ancestral spirits. True righteous gods don’t interfere in personal gains. They will support those who are working hard without any expectations. And when you are naturally in gratitude for your life, the deities will be pushing your back to assist you help the world or community and money will flow into your life naturally.
Strong wishful prayer is the same as an incantation in ancient terms.  What actually happens is that you are enlarging your ego energy to become an independent living apparition (生霊). You are wearing out yourself both physically and mentally. This part of self will bring you down.

So once again, when you have a wish: 1. Think lightly. 2. Be in gratitude to your ancestral spirits and the gods that you are led to live.

Accumulating the energy of gratitude is the best savings that will make your life go smoothly and effortlessly. Money can only buy you material things, but the savings of true gratitude can buy you both material things and life force/conditions. Unlike money or material things, this savings can be brought even to life after death. You will be surprised how much it is worth when you are up there. The more you use your energy in trying to help others, the more savings you will make. This is also another fact.

Live truthfully to your good will and everything will be all right.

Secret to Happiness

For the last few thousand years, many ideologies, religion, beliefs, teachings including the modern Law of Attraction type of pragmatic methods has been presented. The basis to all of these ideas comes from the humanly desire of happiness.  Its also a human instinct to find a way to live in a restful mind.

No matter what, the best technique is the power from within that cares for others, sympathy, mercy, in Buddhist term, compassion. all the acts of kindness and thoughtfulness. This is the most powerful tool. You become the mirror to yourself. The inner beauty will bring beautiful outcomes.

Even if you were cursed by a powerful anathema, when your mind is strong enough to have compassion to the one cursing you, you could easily repel the energy back to him. The energy returns to the giver and he will be destroyed by his own power. If you are saying the *kotodama ikashite-itadaite arigato-gozaimasu everyday, being modest with a sense of gratitude in your daily life, you dont need to worry about any curse reaching you. It will clearly bounce the energy back to the giver without even knowing.

Same about money. As long as you have the desire for more money, you will be a failure. When you naturally feel that you want to make people happy and be giving, god will bring you the money you need.  There is a spiritual law, like draws like. The magnetic energy will attract the same kind of energy you are emanating. The desire to want more money will attract low spirits with similar desires. Your luck will turn down.  When your desire is to be giving, you will attract the higher spirits who are willing to help.

Until the 90s (Showa period in Japan), Earth was bounded by the energy from the moon and the Law of Gravity, Attraction and Manifestation was active. Now from the Heisei period (after the 90s), the Earth is now bounded by the energy from the sun.  The sun is a giver. It gives us light, heat and electro-magnetic power. Now our driving force has to switch over from attracting to giving.  This is a big shift of the Universal Law. If you are still working on the Law of Attraction, your energy force is going against the current flow. And it may bring you unfortunate results. Please be careful.

The Western mind is said to be based on the ancient way of living as hunters. If you dont have it, you go and get it kind of mind set. This idea seems to be the hidden base of their ideology and religion. In Japan, we also had a custom of hunting. But prayers were always said to give thanks to the lives of the animals. In the fall, the shrines would hold ceremonies to send gratitude for the good harvest. The custom of celebrating the harvest in the fall is seen all over the world, but we must not forget to be in gratitude in our daily lives.  In Japan, still today, we always say itadakimasu meaning thank you for the food before we eat our meals, also gochisosama after the meal to send gratitude once again.

From now on, it is essential to be consciously aware about compassion and gratitude in our daily lives. When you are, the power from the sun will support you and change your life a great deal. No one can go against the enormous power of the big sun waves.

(This photo was taken recently by one of our reader. It is at the front of Ise Jingu, Naigū. The shadow on the right is the finger of the person taking the photo, but you can see the nichirin, circle of light, emanating a very strong spiritual light. )

It’s not a big deal

I work at the sales department of a firm that deals with natural resource. I am now positioned in administration having my own private room. It has now been two years since I have to be working on night sifts to determine the prices for the material imported from North America.

Around the end of the year and new years, I am often reminded about the bankruptcy of the companies we had business with. I was still a salesman at that time. One day, all of the sudden, a company went bankrupt and disappeared.  Since I was a salesman and had visited the firm often, I was able to tell by the attitudes of the employees that the firm was going to go down soon. However, just by feeling that, I couldnt just stop doing the deals with them. But I had to inform my companys president of that situation to protect my job. I know many salesmen in other companies who got fired because they didnt give notice in advance in spite of their suspicion. In some cases, the salesman had informed his direct boss, but the boss lied to the president that he hadnt been informed in order to protect his position and the salesman was to be blamed and got fired.

Because our company deals with natural resource, the deals are in great numbers. If we cannot collect the payment, our firm would also face great damage. As a salesman, I had to go and ask for the payment. It is like giving them a sentence to death, the most unpleasant experience. Yet I had to do it to protect my own company and employees. We prepare several large trucks to take back the natural resources I had sold to them earlier. When I go to the firms owner to give notice, he would talk about his life drama and how the company went wrong. It is not easy to see him in despair when I have known him for so many years. Some would start crying, and some would become furious. In any case, I had to make sure to collect the material before the court order is pronounced. Once the place is roped off, no one is allowed to touch or take away anything on the firms property. It has to done in a timely manner. I had to do this with several firms.
There was one devious owner. He planned a bankruptcy. He bought large amounts of materials beforehand and filed for bankruptcy.  And when the assets and products are sold in auction, he would buy them with names of his relatives. His debt is gone and he is able to repurchase his real estate and stocks in a very low price. He established a company in another name and rehired his employees and restart the business.  Many of the creditors had to suffer in silence.  The devious owner may think he might have succeeded with his plan, but in truth, he has left a scar on his ancestral spiritual line. His direct family or his descendents would have to pay for this, either by having a shorter life or some illness.

Yet, what I can say about the owners who went bankrupt, all of them are enjoying their lives now. Some of them have told me that they had even thought about killing themselves. But now when they look back, they are glad they didn't do such ignorant thing. Some had to sell their house and now living in a small apartment. Some managed to save their home.  In Japan, even after a bankruptcy, you could still enjoy life, have a place to live and get a job. You may live in a smaller place and have a different job but if you could be grateful for it, you are still able to enjoy life.  It is all about your good will.

At the end, we all die in one naked body and nothing else. The world remains like a dream state of all the courageous men. So please dont try to kill yourself no matter what. Bankruptcy, loss of job it is all experiences of life that you need to experience in order to grow.  You must become an observer to your own life. At the end, you will know that every experience was necessary.

When you enter the Bardo Period (for detail, search inside this blog), you will say to yourself, it really wasnt such a big deal. I could have done more about it. I wish I had done things more in a sincere manner.  After we experience physical death, the soul still holds all the memories very clearly. What happens in the world of reality is really not such a big deal. What we do about the invisible world is far more valuable. Even when we think we are lost, if your heart could continue to have faith and be in gratitude, that is amazing. Being in gratitude towards the invisible ancestral spirits is valuable. And acting with your good will towards others who are still alive is also as valuable.

These acts are treasured and valued that we all come to perceive in life after death.

Happy New Year !

This year, we will all have the chance to regenerate and revive.  The key is to live with awareness of your spirit-self (innate god). Energy work/healing work from another person is absolutely unnecessary. Instead, receiving energy from others (or channeled through another body) would be harmful from this year. It would be a destruction. Be careful about organizations that would ask you for donations or collecting money and create gatherings. It is very important to keep your originality and believing in yourself. Those who are able to do this will progress rapidly this year.  Companies that have originality will also be able to survive. Japan must also start to live her own path and become independent. It is Kunitamas (the soul of Japan) divine will.

We were able to come to Earth only because we received a part of gods energy as a soul. I hope you remember this. There were many other souls who wanted to come into this world through their ancestral spiritual line. But you were the chosen one at this time. So dont take it lightly.  It doesnt have to be perfect. Just do your best in what you Can Do at this present time. The result is not important. We struggle through decisions in life. That process is more important than the result.  Even if you have to be in bed for some reason, as long as you have the will to do something about your life, you are genuinely beautiful.

So once again, this year is the year to trust yourself and try to make the best out of yourself.

Many readers of my blog have given us professional advice as teachers and doctors. The updates of the blog have become more and more about realistic health advices from different professional fields. Now-adays, just looking at one subject such as cancer, so many different approaches towards curing the disease is presented. Looking into only one field for one subject is too limited. It is not enough.  Today, we are able to access to many information. We are required to look into many possibilities, have a bigger perspective and make our own decisions.

I have not met any of my readers. But I will prove to you that the connection only from heart to heart without any benefits is most pure and practical. Lets work it out together once again!

Caring for everything

(written Dec.28)

In the old days, Japanese people felt spirits and fairies everywhere in their daily lives. In restrooms (water), kitchen (fire), drawing room with tatami mats (wood and grass), bathroom (water). mountain, river, ocean, forest  Everywhere that was connected to the daily life, they felt that they were using the natures property and always feeling grateful and asking permission to the spirits who are looking after the area or the elements. They may not have seen the fairies but they knew they were there. It was natural to think that way and be in gratitude. Just feeling the invisible existence and caring for them is a higher state of spirituality than being a psychic.

We really dont have to think about the fairies nor send gratitude. Never the less, those who feels that asking permission to the nature spirits for letting us use the energy or the elements as a material, they do it naturally. They are affectionate people. Those who would naturally send gratitude to the invisible are those who are able to feel what others are feeling.

What we are feeling is also something invisible. Still the affectionate ones are able to care about others feelings. As a life partner, whom would you choose? A rationalist who will be grateful for visible things or a caring person who would also care for invisible things?

A relationship that is built by only corresponding to the appearances is somewhat truculent. I think that the old Japanese way, believing in seeing god spirits in everything (eight million gods) is highly spiritual.  We all came from the Root of the Universe. Thus seeing the fundamental god (the divinity/sacredness) in everything is possible. Everything is connected in a profound sense.

In the toilet, there is a toilet spirit. It is true. When our sewage is disposed from our physical body that contains a soul (innate god), for a certain period of time, our spiritual energy remains in the sewage as well. A public restroom used by many people, the energy of all is accumulated and remains there for a while. Through a psychic vision, it looks like a small cloud or smoke floating in the air. It is possible that eventually it forms a figure.

This is called bunkon (分魂) in ancient Shinto. It means that your spiritual energy could be divided and is a part of all. When you come to a realization of the miracle for yourself to be here today, naturally you become grateful to your ancestors.  If you cannot be appreciative about your ancestors, you lack love within yourself.

Try to be conscious about it, be a pure honest person and be grateful to everything. Leave the energy of gratitude everyday in your daily life. The accumulation of that energy will for sure do you good later in life.

I sincerely want to thank you for reading my blog throughout this year. I tried my best to make strenuous efforts and one year is almost coming to an end. I will enjoy the year 2011 in the same manner.

What is “Kami (god) ” ?

(written Dec.23rd)

Today is the 77th birthday of the Emperor. He is THE person who represents Japan of today. I am not an idealist and I am not so knowledgeable in politics. Simply through my spiritual perspective, I respect him deeply.

From him, I feel precisely the scent of Shinkai (the World of Kami/Gods). It is a scent that I recall from the ancient times. It is a miracle that he exists as a symbol of Japan in spite of all the opposing movements against the existence of the Imperial Family. Amongst the generations of emperors, I sense that the present Emperor is one of the ten highest souls who descended from Shinkai in the past one thousand year.

From the information I received through a revelation, the current Emperor is practicing the daily Shinto rituals more than any other emperors in the past several hundred years. He is the most simple-minded and honest-to-goodness emperor. I am sure his respected personality will be revealed in the later days from his close staff members.

Why is the Emperor so serious about the Shinji (Shinto rituals)? It is because he is trying to know what kami (god) is?  He is very serious in trying to understand for the wellness of the country and the nation. It is very important and honest to think, in truth I really dont know what or who kami is? Kami is something not easy to comprehend in a human level. It is not possible to hear a voice of a kami. If the voice you are hearing says he is a kami, most likely it is a spirit with an ego trying to manipulate you.

If we were to ask the Emperor What is kami?, he would be troubled. The reason is because it is an awful unexplainable existence that cannot be easily voiced. In Shinto, there is a word called kotoagesezu (言あげせず). It means kami cannot be explained, nor should it be imposed on anyone, nor advertised. It should be conceived by oneself, absolutely left to the autonomy of the individual.

While many religious groups are advertising and making sale efforts, Ise Jingu is silently increasing visitors. Actually, I am sensing that Shinto shrines all over Japan are going through purification and regeneration. It proves that the great nature spirits are still alive here in our chain of islands.

I understand there are many people who suffered from war and discrimination. All men should have equal rights. But on the other hand, we must understand that there are division of roles assigned to certain people. The Emperor was assigned to represent the nation to send gratitude to kunitama (the soul of a country) that has lead this country to go on for more than two thousand years. I am certain that if we loose the Emperor, spiritually, our country will have to face consequences. It may be an unscientific opinion. But such an adventure should not take place.  We have been experiencing historically, when the power of the Emperor is weakened, there have always been disputes below the surface. I sincerely believe that the two most recent emperors have put a great deal of effort in foreign affairs below the surface to maintain stability for our nation. The Emperor is only thinking about the people and what it best for the nation.

The year when the current Emperor was enthroned, a new type of rice had been discovered at the Ise Jingu Shinden (sacred rice field). And this was not the first time such miracles had happened connected to the enthronement. The Emperor is the tenson (天孫), the grandchild from the heavens. The birth of the new type of rice is one symbolic proof.

I sincerely wish longevity for our Emperor.
