Konbu (sea tangle) contains non-radioactive iodine

Extractions from March 23rd ~April 1st.

I have been suggesting the consumption of konbu as a countermeasure on radiation exposure. However on TV, some commentators that declares themselves as food specialists says that it is a false rumor.  I was surprised to hear that he or she had so easily denied the consumption of seaweeds. If you go into the internet search for radiation accidents, you would easily find many sites from radiation specialist suggesting the konbu is an adequate material to consume in order to saturate the radioactive iodine that has been absorbed internally. For example, Dr.Masamichi Nishio, the director and radiation treatment specialist at National Hospital Organization Hokkaido Cancer Center, had written an article about emergency treatment on radiation exposure
. He has mentioned about eat food such as konbu that contains iodine as you evacuate In the emergency manual, they mention about distributing Potassium iodide(KI). Radioactive iodine is quickly absorbed by the thyroid gland. Because non-radioactive iodine acts to block radioactive iodine from being taken into the thyroid gland, it can help protect this gland from injury.
However, this will not help from the contamination of the radioisotopes. Thus evacuating towards the wind and eat food that contains iodine (konbu or wakame types of thick seaweeds) would be practical. Prof. Jun Takada from Sapporo Medical University who specializes in the study of radiation protection is also suggesting konbu as natural resource for iodine consumption (now on You-Tube).

Konbu (scientific name: Laminariaceae Bory)
Wakame (scientific name: Undaria pinnatifida)

The iodine content in Nekonbu is several times higher than other dried seaweed. Ne means root. The more towards the root, the more iodine is contained. Though, when consumed through natural resource, it will take sometime for the iodine to be absorbed. So its important that you take it daily. Please consult with your doctor if you already carry illness in your thyroid gland.

In the past, I have written about many suggestions on how to prepare for this time of crisis. Many people commented that all the things were very useful at this time in the aftermath we are experiencing today. Whether you believe in what I say or not is up to you. It is all fate.

When you are all well prepared, nothing happens... I’m sure you’ve experienced this. When you are well prepared, you are confident. And your confidence has “erased”the calamity.

Trust yourself and act on the preparation. Then you will be alright.

Countermeasures on radiation exposure

 1. Consumption of seaweed and soybean products.
According to a report on Russian Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident, those who have been taking a good amount of seaweed and soybean food-products had less aftereffects from the radiation exposure.

I suggest, people in Kanto and Tohoku area to take a good amount of seaweed, especially nekonbu (根昆布) thick tangle (one daily). Also soybean products, such as nato, soybean milk, tofu, miso soup, soysauce etc. You shouldn’t over dose the amount. Just eat them everyday in regular meals. The accumulation of iodine from these foods will help protect your body from the radiation.  Not only can this help from the nuclear power plant radiation but also from the geomagnetism. In addition, the consumption of distilled water would be best.

The same idea was presented to me as a revelation. It said if you had been exposed to radiation, eat one (about 10x10cm/ children half size) nekonbu and soybean products along with more than 1L of distilled water everyday for one week. The body’s digestive response on the tangle and soybean products will help excrete the radiation.

You can put the nekonbu tangle in a glass and pore distilled water. The water becomes brownish and slightly viscous. This is the iodine. I continue to drink this water all day. Once the tangle is used for a whole day, 90% of the iodine will be consumed. You can eat the remain or toss it away. If you don’t like nekonbu, any type of seaweed would be good. But nekonbu or wakame seaweeds contains iodine the most. Consult with your doctor if you have problem with your thyroid gland.

2.Consumption of warm distilled water
If you don’t have distilled water, you can drink boiled water and throw away 20% of the bottom part. Drink more than 1L daily. I drink about 4L in body temperature. The warm water in about body temperature will also help excrete the radiation.

3. Consumption of probiotic bacteria.
Take various types of butyric and lactic acid bacteria in pills or products such as yogurt daily. This will keep your intestine in a strong healthy environment.

4. Consumption of spring turmeric.
Take 2~3 g daily (use search engine inside this blogsite for more information on turmeric).

4. Olive Oil
Take unheated olive oil one big spoon in the morning and in the evening. This will maintain your stomach in a good condition.

5. Use interior air purifier equipments (plasma type is best)

6. Dry laundry inside the house.

7. Where a good mask, sunglass, hat when going outside. Do not expose your skin.

8. Wash vegetables before cooking with all natural dish washing detergent that says good for vegetables washing.

9. Hemp/linen clothes are somewhat effective as well.

At the end of our lives, we all die, but it’s important to try our best to live and take good care of ourselves and others, and to be faithful to your good will.

The Earthquake M.8.8

(Extractions from March 12~17th)

Many people are still missing. My thoughts are with their soul to be at peace. I believe that those who fought to live until the last minute and died from a natural disaster will receive mercy from god and rest in peace. They will be all together in a peaceful place. So don't be too afraid of death. Those who passed away and those who still live, both of their spiritual heart are still alive. Even so, let us not forget to be thankful for letting us live, ikashite-itadaite arigato-gozaimasu. And do our best in the now moments, to honor those who had gone before us.

We cannot waste the deaths of the victims. We all saw the horrific power of a tsunami, right in front of us. We will never forget this devastating scene. We have learned many things from this tsunami. How powerful it is, much more than we had imagined. We must learn from the mistakes, how fast, far and high it goes, and be prepared in case of the next tsunami. Many of us will survive the next one, by learning from the victims. Their death must not be wasted.

Looking at thousands of death, there are those who are in despair and those who try to work things out. We must honor the death and try to work it out. Just being hopeless will not console the victims. It is our responsibility to kuyō the dead by living at our best effort until the last minute.

Todays news was showing the teachers of nursery in one of the shelter. The teachers were talking how each of the young female teachers had to carry few children and run up the hill.  They had witnessed many small children and elders getting washed away. They were screaming for help and disappearing into the water with fearing faces.  The teacher had burst into tears as she spoke of the dreadful experience.  I ruminated this scene in my mind and thought of the destination of these people who disappeared into the strong waves. The vision (destination) I saw after this devastating scene was as if I turned a revolving door. The other side was a world of total peace.

When you did not give up your life until the last minute, a magic happens and you enter a dimension that is in absolute peace.  When you try to die with your own will, you are not able to enter this dimension.  What it comes down to is that, its all about how much you tried. We are all here to test ourselves. As long as you are working against your good will (innate god), life is dull, full of worries and confusion.  Its not about how long you live, it's more about your attitude towards living

The magnetic energy of earth is moving down towards south from Fukushima. It has passed the Tokyo bay and now at Tokai area. I sense there is another energy coming from south Kyushu running up north. The both energies are now coming together at the Fossa Magna that is the dividing section of the chain of islands of Japan.
That is what Im sensing now. After this collision, Im sensing it will go back again to Tokyo bay.

The turning points are March, June and September. The force is taking us compulsorily to redirect our will towards the goodness of heart. And no matter how you end, the important thing is that you tried your best until the end. This life we are experiencing is only one half of the whole. The other half is still there, life after physical death. How we can be at peace at the other half depends on how much we tried our best to live until the last minute.
From now on, the temperature will continue to rise and fall in a large degree. We must stay in great caution throughout entire Japan.  Don't worry but trust that we will get through this by our best efforts.

Sunspots' influence

On February 15th, the number of sunspots appearing on the sun went up to a hundred (now this past few days, it’s in the 130s.  http://swc.nict.go.jp/contents/index_e.php).  When the sunspots break out over a hundred, I sense an air pressure in my eardrums, the same sensation felt at take offs and landings on an airplane.

Two years ago, I wrote an article about the electro-magnetic waves from the sun influencing Earth in air pressure. (March5, 2009: http://isehakusando-eng-version.blogspot.com/2009/03/electro-magnetic-bomb-from-sun.html)  The influence in the air pressure may cause us dizziness, tottering and ringing in the ears. Especially those who may be dormant with Ménière’s syndrome would suffer from these symptoms.

I will introduce here a way to treat these symptoms. The hearing function and the sense of balance in the body has to do with the circulation of the lymph fluid inside the ears.  When the air pressure changes, the lymph fluid inside the ears is congested that causes many symptoms.

Treatment :
1. Improve physical constitution (readjust the autonomic nerve system, improve immune system).

2. Improve diet (take sufficient amount of distilled water and right food such as algae ).

3. Find a way to release stress (light aerobic exercise, enjoy hobby, take enough sleep).

4. Stabilize blood pressure (drink soy milk and take enough amount of vegetables).
I’ve introduced ways of exercise and the right food in my past articles, but the spring turmeric, I feel, is especially good. Taking 2grams daily would be a sufficient amount according to the side effect safety standard in Germany’s rigid research.

Around the day the sunspot went over 100, many reports were made about water pipe leaks in apartment buildings.  I believe this has to do with the change in air pressure influenced by the EM waves from the sun causing excessive amount of pressure directed to one part in the waterline.

The influences from the sunspots are now appearing in real life. But the invisible influences (the spiritual power) are even greater. We are seeing oppressed nations fighting for justice and causing riots around the world.
It is the time of true justice. Only those living in honesty with good will be able to endure the powerful spiritual radiation from the sun.

The Law of Reflection

The physical body is a vehicle that carries the soul and the innate god.  The physical body is sort of a tree we perch on but eventually we fly off.  As the wind blows, the branch we perch on will shake from time to time and causes us anxiety. At the same time, we want to observe and experience different sceneries from the branch. But the time we can perch on the branch is limited.

We go and see a two hour movie.  We make the time for it and we spend some money for it as well. And what do to you expect from it?  Do you expect it to be a monotonous, flat and boring story? No. We want from suspense and excitement to an emotional moving happy ending. So those who are suffering right now in their real life, which part of the whole movie do you think you might be experiencing?  Would you prefer to play the guy who leaves all his friends and try to survive a life in solitude? Or would you like to be the guy who goes through hardships and still tries to help others?  I see more virtue in the later role.

The same idea can be applied to ancestral worship. Our ancestors created us. And we shouldn’t forget about them. Humans are foolish. We tend to forget about the good things people did for us in the past. We owe our ancestors a debt of gratitude.  When we forget about them, we will loose our luck. Our fortune is weakened. There are others too that we shouldn’t be forgetting, teachers of life, people who helped us when we needed help.  When these beloved people pass away, we should continue to send gratitude together by burning one incense for them.  Two incense for our ancestors and one for the others. It is important to show our appreciation in our own way.

Everything we do in this lifetime will reflect on us one way or the other. The good things and the bad things, they will all reflect back to ourselves. It might not reflect while we are alive. It may be in our afterlife or reflect on our children. This is an absolute universal truth.  We are all watched from above. There is no escape. Justice is given equally to everyone. God is watching.

If it doesn’t come back in this lifetime, it will in the next lifetime or next generation. Just because, you didn’t see the bad guy get punished, it doesn’t mean that god doesn't exist. God is merciful and has much longer perspective than us. In other words, life is eternal and frightfully never ending.

So it is very important we honor our ancestors and those who helped us. However, I see many people doing ancestral worship (kuyō) in a wrong way. First of all, paying some religious group or a “sensei” is not only wrong but also creating a worse situation. The best way is to do it by yourself.  Direct descendent carries the same DNA, the spiritual lineage. Even when you don’t carry the same DNA, if you are using the same last name, you have the fate to carry the lineage. As mentioned on the previous article, there is the invisible third line in the DNA structure.  This is the spiritual connection that links all the ancestors and descendents together. If you use other people in the kuyō, the spiritual energy of the third party would interfere and becomes a distractive electro-magnetic current. I think it is alright to invite a Buddhist monk for a funeral or anniversaries.  It is an expedient for the relatives to gather. The deceased would be happy to see his relatives gather. But the daily kuyō with gratitude is most important. It is most healing for the deceased.

Secondly, the deceased are spirits. They don’t have a physical body. Therefore, they need a ‘tree’ to perch on. We call it yorishiro. It is either the tanzaku or a memorial tablet. This becomes the tree they could perch on.  On the tanzaku, the letters 霊位 are important for the spirits to recognize that is a resting place for them.  In foreign countries, it is best to write something in similar meaning, so the spirits could recognize the energy that emanates from the word written on the tablet that they could rest here for a while.

Those who wish to send gratitude to their ancestral spirits should consider the above two matters. Not forgetting and to acknowledge the invisible people who have helped you and created you is a priceless act. It will certainly reflect back on you.

Today as always, I am extremely passionate about helping others, those who live and those who have passed away.

Parenthood for the deceased child

No matter what era we live in, it is always hard to see your own child depart at a young age. “I wish I could have given him more experience”. “I wish we shared more time together”. The parents have so many regrets. But then, we also worry about children anyways, about problems with school, health, friends, etc… Sometimes the parent is more anxious than the child.

A death in close family or friend is meant to give one a strong learning. As a human being, we always need the tie with other people. If you lived a life only for yourself, eventually you’ll get stuck. We work hard for our family or for our employees, those we care about. We are creatures who have something called the “good will” and it’s in our nature to want to help the people around us.

So what can we do when we have lost our own child?  As long as we live, we should keep sending the kuyō to the child. The soul of the child is eternal. He can still grow in the other life after death. When we keep sending kuyō blessings, he will continue to grow. So I feel the parents have the responsibility to continue the sending of blessings to their child as long as they live.  Here, the important part is not only to send blessings to the child but also to send gratitude to the ancestors who are taking care of the child in the other world.

Until the 90s, there was a world between this World of Reality and the World of Ghosts (spirits). I call it the “Middle World of the Ghosts中幽界)”. It is now fading away. But in this middle dimension, it actually had all the great facilities such as a hospital, health resort&spa and a nursery. It was very real and it was a place where the souls could rest after they departed from the physical body.

I don’t do it anymore, but until the 90s, when someone I knew had to experience a child’s death, I accessed to this dimension and made sure the child is in good care. If the child was still a baby, I will call out to one of the doctors at the nursery and two of the ancestors of the child. The doctors were mostly women at the nursery. They called themselves by their first name. There were many of them, but I still remember Doctor Sayuri. Her face still remains clear in my head. I tell the ancestors to carry the baby to the doctor. This will create a concrete spiritual connection between the baby, his ancestors and the nursery. It’s the same as it is in this world of reality. When the parent takes the child directly to the caretaker of the nursery, the trust is built. The doctor at the nursery would take the baby from the ancestral spirits and say, “there you areI was waiting for you my dear child”.  Even I don’t say anything to the parents, just by taking this process, they seem to change their attitudes toward the deceased child from the next day.

At this time, in the year 2000s, I don’t access to the World of Ghosts anymore. It is not allowed and dangerous at this point. Today, a kuyō (daily gratitude sending) done by direct descendents is most effective. All the deceased within the family will be saved. The distance between the World (dimension) of Gods, the World of Spirits and this World of Reality is getting closer and closer. In the super ancient times, only two worlds existed. The World of the Gods and the World of Reality. The World of Ghost and Spirits developed later.

We no longer need a channeller who helps us communicate with the deceased. It has now become a dangerous path to try and access the World of Ghosts and Spirits (read articles dated 25/07/2008 and 26/07/2008). The channellers should know this, and if they don’t it means they are not seeing the whole picture.

The new way of kuyō I am recommending is the gratitude sending. The spiritual power of ‘gratitude’ is the most powerful energy that will save all your ancestors and the acquainted deceased. And when you save your ancestors, the law of reflection will be activated. The power will be poring back to you and help you in many ways.

There is always the invisible force behind the scene, the unsung heroes.  Your ancestors are the heroes. So at least, we should be sending gratitude because we are led to live through their forces. It is a very simple and easy act that could me done everyday in a minute or two.  As long as you continue to act on the kuyō, there is nothing to worry about. If you are a selfish person, you will not be able to continue the act because you can only act for yourself.
The thoughts and acts of caring can be given without ever running out. And it will always come back to you. This is an absolute logic.

The most powerful source is love

Previously I wrote about a revelation I received on January 27th. “The energy from the Root (ultimate source) comes through the spiritual pipeline of one’s family’s lineage. And the energy is transformed into two types, a Yin(-) and a Yang(+). These energy goes through different dimensions and come into this World of Reality. Here a destined Yin (female) and a Yang (male) meets (reunite) and restore (by giving birth) the original will of god into a figure.”

I have been thinking about this revelation for the past few days. The energy had to be fractionalized in order to pass through several dimensions. And at this dimension we live in, the pieces are reunited to form a figure (a human being) that is supposed to be carrying the original will of the Root.

It is like transporting a large piece from overseas. We have to separate it into few pieces in order to fit into a crater. Then once it reaches Japan, it is put together in one piece. Once again, the fractions are regathered into the original form. If one piece gets lost or delivered to another place, the pieces cannot be rebuilt into the same original form. The will energy from the Root is also the same. If one fraction is lost or couldn’t pass through a dimension, the original will is lost. This is one Universal Law. This law can be applied from science to all natural order.

There are seven thousand million people living on this planet.  We may be sharing the same time but it would be physically impossible to meet everyone in one lifetime. So when you think about it, the family, relatives and friends you have are a very special limited circle to you. They are meant to have a spiritual relationship with you in this lifetime (even if you dislike some of them). This is called (en) in Japanese, which means a destined relationship. We are at the end of the spiritual pipeline that has been carried on through our ancestors from the ancient times. The ends of two lines met and created a sparkle, all kinds of sparkles including arguments. Here we have to think about something. Weren’t we destined to meet the people we meet/met in order to revive the original will from the Root?

Many people seem to have problems in relationships at home, work, school . When you start to become aware that you are meant to be in this circle for a reason in order to revive the ultimate will, you will make a turn towards a good life. When you become aware, you will start to understand and reconnect to the original will of the ultimate god and your ancestral spirits. We definitely need other people (pieces) in order to reunite in oneness.

And what is the most important key to reunite the “en”? It is to see others through a loving perspective. This way of looking at others will change your life into a better one.  All the people you meet in this lifetime, you have the fate to meet them. Even if you don’t like the person, silently see them with love. You might be able to see the sadness they carry. What is a loving perspective? It is compassion, mercy, affection, caring… it is the mothery love. “I just can’t abandon this poor child” kind of love. I receive hundreds of emails from the readers. If I see a troubled one, I cannot ignore. I also cannot forget about my ancestors who led me have a life.  From time to time, I will remember those who passed away, even though I’d only met once through business. The love you emanate will always come back to you. I believe in this law 100 percent. But if you expect to gain something in return, you will always be unstable and restless. So give away loving care without thinking of any return. Even if you don’t get it back during this lifetime and die miserably, god will scoop you up to heaven with love. And this power comes from yourself. The power of love you gave out will return to you, save you and take you to heaven. If you could see the world and the people through loving eyes, your fear will go away one by one.

Brain Science

I watched a TV show about brain science. Two person playing rock-paper-scissors. And they were asked to think carefully before they show their hand. They did it several times and monitored their brain activity during the process. Depending on what hand out of the three they put out, the monitor showed similar brain activity on the same hands out. When consciously decided what hand to put out, the monitor showed the pattern on what they have decided. In fact, the monitor was showing that the brain was already giving out signals on what hand to choose right when they started facing each other. It was even before they were thinking consciously. Once they start to think, the brain patterns that indicate the three types of hands would rapidly show one after another. But what they would actually put out was actually the one that was signaled before the thinking process began. The result has told us that the unconscious mind seems to make a decision the second we know that the game is going to happen.

I feel that when one’s conscious mind hesitates and tries to make a decision that is different to the unconscious mind, most likely one looses the game. It happens because the egoistic conscious mind is distracting the signal from the brain, the unconscious mind. So this explains to us that it’s better not to torment ourselves by thinking. The brain already has the answer. If you could pick-up that signal by being in are relaxed pliable state, your brain will lead you to the right direction.

As I mentioned previously, (http://isehakusando-eng-version.blogspot.com/2010_07_11_archive.html) this photo is a shot capturing the beginning of the Universe.  It looks just like a human brain. The brain is the universe. It is where things begin in you own universe.

The brain test of the rock-paper-scissors game indicates that we already had the answer the second we faced each other. It is fascinating to think that two human beings who carry a universe in his/her brain are facing one another. It is one universe vs. another universe.

The answer that the brain has for you is not necessary convenient for you at that time. It might choose to loose the game for some reason. You might be able to fool another person, but you cannot fool your own brain. If you keep ignoring the signals from your own brain, it might attack you back one day. Do be careful.

The good will is a big part of your innate god. So be honest and follow your good will. Then there is nothing to worry about. Your brain=universe will support you. Your universe=brain will help you.

When things are going good, it feels like a natural flow. It goes so smoothly. We might be anxious from time to time but not in a tormenting state. In Japanese, anxious is 心配。心=heart, =distribute. It means to care, to be aware of the possibilities of alertly factors and problems. It’s important to be aware but not to torment yourself. Then things will go smoothly. If you start to torment yourself, just stop for a moment and observe the situation in a calm manner. It’s good to stop and let the time pass. The brain is always giving you a signal to “stop” when you start to torment.

A successor does not torment himself.
Honesty and calm observation are precious factors that could change your life.

Being sensible means caring

Today is Setsubun(節分). It is the new years day for the shinkai (神界)- The World of the Gods. This morning, I felt the difference, refreshed and revitalized. We have moved up one step higher in the spirit level.  Yesterday, I didnt feel hungry at all. I didn't want any solid piece running through my throat. I drank a lot of distilled water with a pinch of sea salt.

I came to an understanding once again that when we leave this physical body, we cannot consume or take anything from the outside. It becomes an obstruction. If you had received many healing sessions from a fee-charging healer, you will suffer a lot at the end of your life. When youve been involved for a long time with a religious group that gathers donation, you will suffer after your physical death. If you have lived your life without any involvement of such groups or healers and maintained your original spiritual energy, leaving your physical body will go smoothly without any pain. When you can leave smoothly without pain, your soul is able to go to a higher realm in the heavens.

There are serious Buddhist practitioners who attempt in sokushin-jōbutsu (即身成仏) trying to attain Buddhahood while still in the flesh. You really dont have to practice such thing like stop eating. When we humans and animals get old and sense the end of life, we will naturally stop eating. When we come to acknowledge that god lives within all of us that is the same as attaining Buddhahood.

No special practice needs to be done.

When I watched the sunrise this morning, an image of Eleven-headed Kanzeon (Japanese name for the Bodhisattva of Compassion/ one female figure form of Buddha) came to me.

The number eleven represents the eleven dimension of the heavens, the whole of creation. The microcosm of the Universe is always here within our chaotic daily life.  So we really dont have to try and figure out what is happening in the distant cosmic world. When we are able to see and observe all the details of what is happening in our own daily life, we are seeing and understanding the whole Universe.

Therefore, when we really worked hard and did our best, we come to attain a Buddha-like peaceful smile on our face in our later days.  A craftsman who sought a path with dignity and sincerity may come to enlightenment. A housewife who went through many hardships in family matters may also attain enlightenment.

Japanese language is very interesting. It is purposely designed to have the vibrational energy that resonates with the World of the Gods. In time, the words had changed, yet the hidden sound effects still remained. For example, we call Kanzeon as Kannon-sama since the old days. Kannon (観音 Kuan Yin in Chinese) literally means observe the sounds/senses. It is about our senses. I feel being a Kannon is about being sensible, caring about how others are feeling and listening well.  Whether it is about work or a personal relationship, its very important to try and sense and understand about your opponent.

As mentioned in the Ooharae-no-kotoba (大祓詞 the only valid norito chant) descended through goddess Yamato-hime (皇女倭姫), in the ancient times, the plants and trees had feelings and communicated with us. It is now starting to happen again. The already starting new era is a time where we could once again communicate with all lives. If you listen carefully and care for all living things, you will become the god/goddess of compassion and heal/help many people.
