Tears of over joy

I remember watching an interview of a German guy who was miraculously rescued from a cave-in accident. His value of life had changed completely after this despairingly long and dark days in the cave. He said small problems never bothered him since. Just being alive was a beautiful thing and he could now look at the bright side in everything. This interview reminded me of another story told by astronauts who had returned from a long journey in space. I heard many American astronauts changed their occupation to a priest or some type of social work after coming back from space.  Astronauts are usually people with PhDs, elites. And these elites life changed so drastically after the experience.

Even without some extraordinary experiences or overcoming hardships or near-death experience, if we could appreciate life and sense the existence of the beyond, life could be such a beautiful thing. But many people have to see with their own eyes. They need facts. If you need scientific evidence, you should look at yourself. You are the evidence of a miraculous creation. When the baby cries right after coming out from his mothers womb, its a happy cry. The soul is over joyed finally coming out from the darkness.

Recently, there was another news about a mine cave-in accident in Chile. 33 people were rescued safely. If they were caved for over a year, they probably would have cried as they saw the sunlight. The experience would be just like a baby coming out from his mothers womb.

As long as we live, many things will happen. We must be grateful to be alive. Every life is worth being grateful for. The soul has waited for decades maybe even hundred of years to come into this life through a mothers body. The flower blooms within a short period. You are in bloom now just for a short time. Why live in sadness?

If you are sick, it means you have a chance to get better. No matter what kind of disease you have, the genes have the possibility to cure. Simply have faith in your root, your ancestors. Send gratitude to them every day. This will regenerate your cell more than you can ever imagine. The universe as a whole may be permanent, but the small elements are constantly changing.

One day, you will find yourself in tears with over joy.

The process is important, not the result

Be an observer. It’s not about being indifferent or neglecting the situation, but doing the best you can do and then letting go of the consequences. We tend to have the desire to say something against the result when we had put in so much effort. But when we let that feelings go, and see it in a calmly manner, we will be able to see the truth.

You might be wondering what I’m talking about. The point is that if you are really working hard, doing your best, you can become an objective thinker. Most people when they put so much effort, they want to have the result that matches their efforts. They are not happy when the result was less than expected.

But the laws in this World of Reality, is that material things are just in this dimension and it will eventually be lost, disappear and the value shifts to something else. The efforts and the hardships you went through during the process of making something is where the value lays. This energy is eternal and will be taken with you even after the physical death. This world and the world after death is almost an opposite world.

What I am trying to say is that there are too many people in this world who are only looking for results and forgetting the process. Those who’s purpose of life are only about results, they sort of look edgy and emotionally unstable.

Life will always end. It is a limited world. So if you could let go of the results, and simply be truthful to your conscience, not being ashamed of yourself but instead proud of yourself, you are a true winner. The energy of those attitudes will affect the other/after world in a good way.

The process of sending ancestral kuyō is the same. You cannot see the results. But it is about having mercy and compassion to those who came before you. Again, it’s not about the result. If I did this… will I get this…?  The fact that you are alive today is because of your ancestors who came before you. You do the kuyō, simply because you want to say thank you to them.

There are too many people in this world that takes things for granted. Those are the ones who suffer after death.

Be the observer, the one who calmly focus on the process. If you can be a master observer, you will understand eternity.
